The Playground Brunch

What better day to celebrate Memorial Day weekend, than an amazing Brunch at the Playground in Downtown Santa Ana.  After much deliberation I decided to start off with the Nutella and Blackberry Scone, made with love by Fawn.  Perfectly made with a light drizzle of Choclate, and warmed slightly.

Having an affinity or maybe just down right greed, I ordered the "side of bacon for the table" . Now keep in mind I was by myself, and thought it would be a good idea to eat literally 3 plates of this amazing Bacon.

Oddly enough at this point I was still ridiculously hungry, and after a suggestion from Chef/Owner Jason Quinn I went with the Lomo Saltado Fries w/ 2 fried eggs.  Loved ones I have to tell you this was probably one of the most unique combinations of food I have ever tasted. A bed of french fries topped with onion, cubed pieces of medium well done Wagyu Beef, 2 fried eggs, and a Lime sauce. Another creation from Chef Quinn, a def winner!!!!
