The PlayGroundDTSA Part 2 Santa Ana,Ca.

Once again The Playground Downtown Santa Ana,Ca. didn't disappoint. Stopped in for lunch today, pretty mellow lunchtime crowd was on hand. Decided on something other than my norm, and again it was on point. For starters I decided on the Arugula Salad with Bresaola, and Black Plum Sauce. An absolute amazing pairing of flavors topped sliced apples. For a main course I went the Wagyu Chili w/ a corbread float. Wagyu is an american Kobe-style beef, bred from the line of Wagyu Cattle in Japan. Wagyu Kobe beef is widely known for its incredible marbling, and exquisite flavor. The cornbread float was a perfect compliment, very moist and slightly sweet.

I can't begin to tell the numerous ways The Playground Downtown Santa Ana, is by far one of my favorite Restaurants in Orange County. From the incredible staff that remembers your name, to ever changing menu of unique and well prepared menu items. Wait time form ordering to actually eating, is always around 8 minutes. Once again Chef Quinn thanks to you and your staff for an amazing meal.

Garf's Sports Bar Costa Mesa,Ca

Dear Loved Ones:

Probably one of the liveliest places I've ever been to watch a Packers Game. Located in Costa Mesa, Ca. right in the middle of Orange County, Garfs is absolutely one of a kind. Edie the Bar owner is amazing, and def a lively personal, with a Sailors tongue. I venture here Sundays around 8:30 a.m. before Packers games, in order to soak in the atmosphere. My favorite choice for breakfast is the chicken friend Steak w/gravy  Eggs, with 4 strips of Bacon and Buttered toast. Their home fried potatoes are to die for, I only go with half cheese though.

This is one of those off the beaten path places in Orange County, that you just have to see for yourself. Be prepared for lots of trash talking, and really dirty jokes from the Owner. So if you ever come to visit me in California, I give you one guess where I'm taking you ;)
